At least 10% of our annual dance tickets are reserved for fathers/knights and their special girls who may not otherwise get to experience the dance. Scholarships are distributed to qualified nominees.

Nominations for 2026 Her Knight Dance scholarships are now closed. Our selection team will be notify recipients prior to December 1, 2025.

Her Knight is proud to offer our Scholarship Closet in partnership with Kid to Kid and Uptown Cheapskate here in Lexington, KY! As a part of our annual dance scholarship effort, Her Knight provides dance attire to girls with demonstrated need.

If you have new or like-new items you’d like to donate to Kid to Kid or Uptown Cheapskate, a credit will be applied to our Her Knight account. Those who require attire for the dance will be able to choose from their in-store inventory, which is paid for through the Her Knight store credit.
